Oyster Mushroom Grow Kit

Most kits begin growing within a few days. You'll usually harvest mushrooms within 7–14 days, depending on temperature, humidity, and care.

A bright spot with indirect light is ideal. Avoid direct sunlight, radiators, or cold windowsills. Normal room temperature works best.

Open the grow window and make a small cross in the bag where shown. This lets in fresh air and starts the growing process.

Mist lightly twice a day to keep the surface moist. If the room is particularly dry, you may need to mist a little more often.

Yes. The kit grows edible oyster mushrooms. Harvest at the right stage and always cook before eating.

Each grow window will produce 1–3 flushes in total.

It's best to start growing soon after delivery. If needed, the kit can be stored in the fridge for several months before use, though quality may reduce over time.

Inside the box is live mycelium growing on a straw-based substrate. With moisture, light, and fresh air, it produces mushrooms.

The kit is designed for indoor growing where conditions are stable. Outdoor growing can work, but results are less predictable.

This can happen if the mycelium is very active — and is actually a good sign! Simply break them off if accessible and continue with the instructions as normal.

The amber droplets are natural metabolites produced by mycelium breaking down nutrients. They're completely harmless and perfectly normal.

This is usually caused by low humidity. Ensure you're misting regularly to encourage another flush.

Harvest just before the cap edges begin to flatten out. At this stage the mushrooms have the best texture and flavour.
